CAM 09 — MISSION CONTROL
EXT. MARS — SEPTEMBER 2026CLIENT: ATX EVENT SYSTEMS × CLUB ICHI

One photo in.A mission out.

Guests walked up, took one picture, and left with a video of themselves suiting up, launching, and landing on Mars. It was on their phone before they got back to the bar.

01

The brief

Club Ichi wanted something guests would actually queue for, and ATX Event Systems wanted it to run all night without a crew babysitting it.

A photo booth prints a picture. This had to do something a phone camera can't, in a room where nobody is patient. So the answer wasn't a better camera. It was giving every guest a short film they couldn't have made themselves, of a place they were never going to go.

We built the whole world first. Mission patch, wardrobe, launch, zero gravity, the surface. By the time doors opened, the only thing left to generate was the guest.

02

How it ran

01

One photo

A guest walks up and takes a single picture. No lighting setup, no green screen, no staff member operating anything.

02

Suit up

They're generated into the scene, not pasted onto it. Spacesuit, rocket, zero gravity, the Martian surface, all of it designed and locked before the event.

03

Minutes, not later

The finished reel lands on their phone while they're still in the room. That timing is the entire difference between a share and a forgotten email.

04

On the wall

Public reels go up on a live mission wall at the venue, so the booth keeps selling itself to the queue behind it.

// guests could keep a reel private. the wall and the globe only show the ones left public.

03

Go and use it

The booth is still live. You can run a mission yourself right now, from a phone or a laptop.

It's the same build that ran the night, left up on purpose. Take a photo, suit up, and see how long it actually takes.

Straight answers

What is an AI photo booth?

A booth that takes one photo of a guest and returns a finished video of them inside a scene they were never in. Not a filter over their face and not a green screen composite. The guest is generated into the world: the suit, the rocket, the surface, the lighting. It lands on their phone in minutes, while they're still at the event, which is the part that makes it get shared rather than forgotten.

How long does a guest wait?

Minutes, not the rest of the evening. That constraint shapes everything upstream. The scene, the wardrobe and the character treatment are locked before doors open, so the only thing happening live is the guest's own render. A booth that takes twenty minutes per guest is a queue, and a queue is the opposite of an activation.

Does it work for any theme, or just space?

Any theme that can be designed in advance. Mars was the brief for Club Ichi, so the whole thing was built around it: mission patch, astronaut wardrobe, launch, zero gravity, landing. A different event gets a different world built the same way. What does not change is the pipeline: design the scene first, lock the look, then let the guest walk into it.

What happens to the photos and the videos?

Guests can keep their reel private. The public wall and this globe only show reels from guests who left them public, and anyone who hid theirs is excluded before it reaches either. That is a setting in the product rather than a promise in a deck, which is the only version of a privacy answer worth giving.

Who built it?

Talentless AI built the experience and the pipeline. ATX Event Systems is the production partner and brought the event. Club Ichi was the venue and the client for this one. The booth platform is VideoBooth.ai, which came out of an earlier ATX activation where guests were put inside a World Cup final from a single selfie.
